team. 42. . . . Wide Receiver Dante Pettis. 10

I was super high on rookie wide receiver Dante Pettis after he had put together one of the best training camps I had ever seen from a player. He was straight-up toasting guys all over the place and showed a knack for getting open. His playstyle reminded me of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Antonio Brown, New York Giants’ Odell Beckham Jr. and Minnesota Vikings’ Stefon Diggs.

Disappointment commenced when Pettis suffered a knee injury in Week 4 against the Chargers. Fans started to overreact and call him a bust, but Pettis made everybody eat crow when he came back from his injury and put together great performances, cementing himself as the team’s No. 1 wide receiver.

This kid doesn’t run — he glides all over the field, and it is just beautiful to watch. He does struggle a bit when defensive backs get physical with him. But if they are playing off the line, Pettis will take over on the play.

I am certainly excited to see more cat-celebrations from the ex-Husky as he enters his second year in the NFL.
