San Francisco 49ers: Complete rookie grades from 2018 NFL Draft class
Round 7, Pick 223: Defensive Tackle Jullian Taylor
Defensive tackle Jullian Taylor was a preseason sensation, much like the next player on this list, who simply didn’t get enough playing time to really showcase himself. In the limited opportunities he had, Taylor was disruptive in the run game, and largely silent in the pass game. He finished with seven tackles in six games, playing as a backup lineman.
Grading Taylor is difficult because he didn’t have enough opportunity to show himself, but I did say that I would be grading objectively and not focus on draft pedigree and its impact.
So, unfortunately, that would mean Taylor just wasn’t good enough to crack the lineup.
