With the San Francisco 49ers winning two games in a row, they’ve moved from pick No. 1 to No. 4 heading into Week 16. This throws the Niners into a whole new perspective for the 2019 NFL Draft.

With some morale-raising victories over the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks, the San Francisco 49ers are gathering some late momentum for what has been an otherwise disappointing season.

Part of this is the Niners are now no longer the worst team in the NFL in terms of their win-loss record, and by extension, they no longer have the No. 1 selection in the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft.

A win over anyone is a good thing, but playing spoiler to one team and their playoff hopes, as well as possibly playing spoiler to a huge rival, is more than worth moving down from No. 1 to No. 4 overall.

Of course this means that San Francisco doesn’t have its pick of the litter anymore, but it can also mean a bit more flexibility for the 49ers depending on how the draft pans out.

So what does that mean for the Niners? I’ve ranked the top five possibilities for general manager John Lynch and Co.

This doesn’t eliminate any other possibility, offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey wasn’t exactly a pick people saw coming back during the 2018 draft, but these are all possibilities that make sense as of now before free agency and possible trades wind up taking place this offseason.

Let’s take a look.
