Week 15 vs. Seattle Seahawks

Most 49ers fans want to forget what happened in Week 13, avoiding any thoughts of the Seahawks’ 43-16 crushing of the Niners at CenturyLink Field.

If there is a bonus, perhaps, San Francisco will have a shot to enact some revenge two weeks after that game, hoping to end that elongated losing streak to Seattle dating back to 2014.

Is it likely to end in Week 15? Probably not. Like the Broncos, the Seahawks are also fighting for their playoff lives.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson only passed for 185 yards the last time these two teams met. But he also had four passing touchdowns to his credit, taking advantages of defensive miscues and blown assignments.

In all reality, there wasn’t much to like from the 49ers’ efforts up north.

Despite their win over the 49ers, the Seahawks are still allowing a league-high 5.1 yards per carry. While running back Matt Breida is dealing with an ankle injury, his status for Week 14 remains unclear. If he’s unable to go, perhaps rookie tailback Jeff Wilson, who rushed for 61 yards and added another 73 through the air the last time these teams met, winds up playing a bigger role.

Oh, and it would be nice if San Francisco can keep Seattle linebacker Bobby Wagner from making such a big impact.
