With the San Francisco 49ers going down to the Seattle Seahawks 43-16, this is one game we would all like to forget. There were however some positives, with a game filled mostly with embarrassment.

The San Francisco 49ers now fall to 2-10 coming off Sunday’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks, bolstering their chances at the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

This was one of the 49ers’ weakest games for the season, with the Seahawks dominating in all aspects of the game. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson wreaked havoc with the 49ers defense. The secondary again performed poorly, missing assignments and blowing coverage on several plays.

Missed tackles and penalties also hampered the Niners’ chances of restricting the Seahawks defense. The 49ers committed 13 penalties for a total of 128 yards, something which you simply cannot do if you want to win ball games.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan was hit with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after failing to keep his temper in check. Shanahan allowed his frustration to build up, dropping the F-bomb at line judge Walt Coleman.

With a game that was painful for Niners fans to endure, there were at least some positives to take away from this whole fiasco…on offense anyway.
