Raekwon Davis. 32. player. 51. . Defensive End. Alabama

Like the Chiefs, the Los Angeles Rams’ offense has been so explosive, it’s often masked the various problems head coach Sean McVay has on the defensive side of things — somewhat troubling, considering all the star-power talent L.A. brought in during the offseason.

The Rams could use a pure edge rusher, although landing a 5-technique defensive lineman, like Alabama’s Raekwon Davis, wouldn’t be a bad idea at all.

At 6-foot-7 and 306 pounds, Davis’ pass-rushing prowess is certainly there, although he hasn’t been lighting things up in the sack department this season, boasting a mere half a sack over 11 games.

Don’t overlook his 8.5-sack 2017 campaign, though.

Davis needs to work a bit on his run-stuffing abilities still, although the ability to play inside should make things a bit easier in case the Rams decide not to bring back defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, who is playing on a one-year deal.

OK, onto Round 2 of the 2019 NFL Draft mock.
