Ah, yes. One of those many first- and second-round picks the Raiders brought aboard after offloading top-tier talent. This one, No. 23 overall, comes courtesy of the Dallas Cowboys, who acquired wide receiver Amari Cooper not long ago.

The Raiders already addressed the interior of the defensive line in this round, grabbing Quinnen Williams earlier. Now, it’s time to take care of the outside pass rush.

Louisiana Tech EDGE Jaylon Ferguson is a name to watch in this deep class, and he’s risen up to first-round status on Mel Kiper’s big board. And with a whopping 15.5 sacks and 23.5 tackles for a loss his senior season, it’s not hard to understand why.

Merely grabbing these two up-front defenders would do wonders for an Oakland defense that has been one of the worst in recent NFL history at generating pressure.
