22. player. 26. . Defensive Tackle. Mississippi State. Jeffery Simmons

The Baltimore Ravens are another one of those teams likely looking for some offensive help in 2019, especially at wide receiver, which is necessary to provide quarterback Lamar Jackson with some bona fide weapons.

That said, there isn’t a lot of value here at No. 22 to focus on offense. So, as the Ravens have often done, they stick to some pressing defensive needs.

Most of these are up front, where the veteran Terrell Suggs is 36 years old and in the final year of his contract. Assuming he stays another year, finding someone to relieve him in a variety of roles would be smart.

Mississippi State defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons is a player to watch here. Like Suggs, Simmons can line up at multiple spots along the defensive line. And while Simmons isn’t as much of a pass-rushing threat, the 6-foot-4, 300 pounder is about as disruptive a force up front there is in this year’s NFL Draft class.

Either re-signing or placing a franchise tag on linebacker C.J. Moseley would be smart too, although a Simmons-to-Baltimore scenario looks nice right now.
