Clemson. Clelin Ferrell. 19. player. 36. . EDGE

Not too long ago, Clemson EDGE Clelin Ferrell was largely viewed as the second best outside pass-rusher behind Nick Bosa.

Ferrell’s stock has seemingly slipped a bit, and it’s not hard to find him in the late teens on many an NFL Draft big board. If that’s the case during Round 1, and he falls all the way to No. 19, the Seattle Seahawks shouldn’t hesitate to grab him.

The Seahawks pass rush hasn’t been what it used to be. Additionally, edge rusher Frank Clark is poised to hit free agency this offseason. While re-signing him should be a top priority for Seattle, adding some extra thump up front isn’t a bad idea at all.

Plus, Ferrell is solid enough against the run too. Seattle’s run defense hasn’t been particularly great this season, meaning a player like Ferrell can be plugged in right away as a true three-down lineman.
