No. 4: Wide Receiver Dante Pettis

A 2018, second-round pick for the 49ers, wide receiver Dante Pettis was second on the team with four receptions on seven targets.

While he also had 77 yards and a touchdown, the most encouraging piece of Pettis’ play won’t be found on the stat sheet. There were no signs of his previously injured knee, and his feet regained the quickness that had impressed earlier in the year.

I hesitantly fantasize about what 16 games with a healthy Pettis and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo may look like.

More than a good performance, Pettis showed he has great growth potential as a wide receiver.
