The San Francisco 49ers had their most dominant win of 2018, beating up on the Oakland Raiders 34-3 in front of a prime-time audience. Niner Noise looks at the biggest winners and losers from the game.

Finally, the San Francisco 49ers‘ 2018 losing streak is over.

This, after the Niners handled the visiting Oakland Raiders 34-3 in Week 9 on Thursday Night Football.

The biggest story of the game, of course, was how an unknown quarterback, Nick Mullens, somehow took full advantage of his surprise start en route to a career-like game in front of a national audience.

And by doing so, Mullens became a household name.

Fortunately, one-sided wins like these produce plenty of winners from the red and gold. San Francisco saw some excellent production from usual suspects, such as tight end George Kittle and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner.

But there were plenty of other standouts too. Wide receiver Pierre Garçon caught his first touchdown pass in a 49ers uniform — Mullens’ first score of his young career. Defensive back Jimmie Ward continued to play well after switching back to safety.

EDGE Cassius Marsh had his best game in San Francisco too.

With every winner, however, there has to be a loser. That goes for players on the Niners roster too, as a number of standouts ultimately pushed other players further to the periphery of the team’s long-term plans moving forward.

So after digesting the dominant San Francisco victory a bit, let’s break down the 49ers’ top winners and losers from the game and see whose stock is rising or falling towards the second hal of 2018.
