player. 44. . Defensive Tackle. Michigan. Rashan Gary. 7

The Atlanta Falcons defense has been atrocious this season despite having up-front defenders in Vic Beasley and Takkarist McKinley. What Atlanta needs, aside from some help in the secondary, is some beef in the middle of the defensive line.

This unit can’t stop the run and hasn’t had much luck in the pass-rush department either. And while injuries have been a primary factor, the Falcons front seven simply isn’t complete as things stand now.

At 6-foot-5 and 283 pounds, Michigan defensive tackle Rashan Gary would be an excellent fit. He’s a disruptive force up front, capable of locking up multiple blockers and allowing Atlanta’s edge defenders to have more favorable matchups. Plus, if the Falcons wanted to, they could afford to try Gary out at one of the EDGE spots to see if he can continue flashing his physique in a pass-rushing mode.
