17. player. 52. . Quarterback. Missouri. Drew Lock

Each year, it seems the Jacksonville Jaguars will have no other choice but to move on from quarterback Blake Bortles. And yet each year, they continue to place their faith in him.

One could easily make the argument Bortles is the one component holding back this Jacksonville team from winning a Super Bowl. The Jags have an elite defense at all three levels, boast a decent offensive line, have a solid rushing attack led by running back Leonard Fournette and possess some good pieces at wide receiver.

Imagine if this team had a good quarterback.

Unless Bortles somehow finds some serious magic during the latter half of 2018, talk of Jacksonville grabbing a quarterback in the 2019 NFL Draft will continue.

And at this point, the best option on the board is Missouri’s Drew Lock, who has a cannon for an arm but will likely need a year to develop at the pro level.

Jacksonville can say goodbye to Bortles after 2019 and place Lock in his stead.
