No. 2: Wide Receiver Dede Westbrook (18% Owned)

Ever since he played ball at Oklahoma catching passes from now-Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield, I have been a fan of Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dede Westbrook.

More from SF 49ers Fantasy Football

The second-year wide receiver, despite his smaller frame at 6-foot and 179 pounds, can go up to catch any contested jump ball and run some beautiful routes. His quickness allows him to get open downfield and acquire a lot of yards after the catch.

He caught nine of 13 targets for 130 yards against the New York Jets in Week 4 and was quarterback Blake Bortles’ favorite target on the day. The only reason why I’m not listing Westbrook as the No. 1 waiver-wire add for this week is because fellow Jaguars receiver Keelan Cole, who started the season as Jacksonville’s No. 1 receiver, is arguably even more talented than Westbrook. The target share might be unpredictable week to week with Cole likely to dominate targets one week and Westbrook the other.

Even so, Westbrook is a great commodity to own, as the Jacksonville offense is beginning to heat up with Blake Bortles slowly but surely improving his game.
