Gosh, is there anyone who can stop the Rams offense right now?

More from Niner Noise

Los Angeles stays put atop our NFL power rankings entering Week 5 after holding off the visiting Vikings in what turned into an epic offensive showdown in L.A.’s Memorial Coliseum on Thursday Night Football.

Like, seriously. How does a defense stop the Rams right now?

Running back Todd Gurley was “kind of” limited on the ground. So head coach Sean McVay used him as an effective receiving weapon. That worked. So did quarterback Jared Goff, who tossed for an astounding five touchdowns on the game, targeting wide receivers Cooper Kupp, Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods.

All three wideouts had 100-plus yards receiving on the game. Again, sheesh!

L.A.’s defense gave up some yards and points, sure. But when the offense is essentially running circles around the competition, it doesn’t matter much at all.

And the way things are going, it doesn’t look like the Rams are going to slow down anytime soon.
