L, 38-7 @ Patriots. Previous: . Miami Dolphins. 20. team. 59.

Told you the Miami Dolphins 3-0 start to the 2018 season was a fluke.

OK, so the Dolphins haven’t won in New England since the Middle Ages, but that trend continued in ugly fashion in Week 4. The Patriots made easy work of head coach Adam Gase’s squad, getting out to a 31-point lead before the Dolphins could manage a measly, meaningless touchdown in the fourth quarter.

It was bad for Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill too, whose 11-of-20, 100-yard performance forced Gase to give way to backup QB Brock Osweiler.

Might as well give Tannehill some time to rest and study up for Week 5, right?

Miami’s usually stout defense couldn’t keep the Pats from moving the chains on third down, and that proved to be detrimental.

At least that 3-1 ranking looks good, but the early fairy tale in Miami might as well be over.
