Sure, it took a massive effort from wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and a game-winning field goal in overtime by kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn to win it after Indianapolis played the overtime aggressive card. But a win is a win, especially on the road against a divisional rival.
Quarterback Deshaun Watson was on point after some frustrating early outings this season, tossing for 375 yards and two touchdowns against an interception. And along with Hopkins, wide receiver Keke Coutee was a massive force too, leading all Houston receivers with 11 catches and netting 109 yards in the process.
Head coach Bill O’Brien’s squad needed to be on point too, especially with Andrew Luck carving up the Texans defense.
That defense continues to be a problem despite some of the big names up front.
