No. 1: 49ers Secondary vs. Wide Receiver Tyreek Hill

Wide receiver Tyreek Hill is the most electric player in the NFL. Period.

He has Olympic-level speed, can run some beautiful routes and can just run past you without you even knowing it.

He is a true talent, and truth be told, I honestly do not know if anybody on this 49ers’ secondary will be able to cover him.

If Golden Tate, Marvin Jones and Kenny Golladay, albeit talented receivers, can run past the 49ers secondary, then what can Hill do? The thought is a frightening one, and will probably come true on Sunday. 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh and his players will have his hands full trying to prevent Hill from trotting into the end zone with a peace sign on his hands.

How well the 49ers will be able to cover Hill is the X-factor in this game.

Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon, who we all thought was the cornerback of the future heading into the season, had his worst game as a pro against Detroit. He needs to shrug that aside and focus on Week 3, because covering Tyreek Hill may just be the toughest matchup that he will get in his life.

But in the slim chance that the San Francisco secondary does indeed lock up Hill effectively, this game will be much easier to win. Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce and wide receiver Sammy Watkins are incredibly talented players, but their damage potential is merely marginal compared to what Hill can do.
