NFL power rankings: 49ers stay even, Patriots fall entering Week 3

Yes, the Bills aren’t counting for much of an opponent. But the fact the Chargers were able to travel way out east and easily handle Buffalo on the road says something.
And the fact Los Angeles did so without it’s top pass-rusher, Joey Bosa (foot), is commendable too.
The final 31-20 score makes the game sound closer than it actually was. L.A. had this Week 2 bout locked up by halftime, thanks to a prolific 256-yard passing, three-touchdown effort from quarterback Philip Rivers and a solid defense that took advantage of a shaky Bills offensive line that allowed five sacks in the contest.
The Chargers may still be flying under the radar in the 2018 playoff picture. But after facing the Chiefs and their powerful offense in Week 1, it’s good to get L.A. back in the win column en route to possibly seizing the AFC West crown this season.
