24. team. 36. . L, 24-17 @ Bears. Previous: . Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks told us two big things against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. One, quarterback Russell Wilson is good and has what it takes to carry the team on his shoulders.
And two, they can’t protect him at all.
Seattle’s offensive line is terrible. We know this, and it’s been a storyline for the Seahawks for years now. But having to face Bears EDGE Khalil Mack was going to be a recipe for disaster. It was, as Mack got to Wilson once Monday night on the stat sheet, but a big part of the six sacks Wilson took during the game.
Oh, and Mack forced a fumble off Wilson too.
The Seahawks couldn’t move the ball at all during the first half largely because of Mack and their own woes up front.
And it wouldn’t be a shock to see this be a constant for the rest of 2018 anytime the Seahawks have to face a top-level pass-rusher.
