No. 1: Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Jimmy Garoppolo, Matt Ryan and the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger all had terrible weeks to kick off 2018.

For Big Ben, his Week 1 efforts were defined by a one-touchdown, three-interception performance along with two fumbles, culminating in a 60.5 passer rating and a 21-21 tie against the Cleveland Browns.

Oh, and nine points for fantasy football owners in standard leagues — probably a reason he’s starting in just over 50 percent of 10-team leagues, per ESPN.

Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell isn’t to blame, as fill-in runner James Conner went off during the contest. Although Roethlisberger appears to be dealing with a minor elbow injury, that’s no reason to assume he should be a fantasy sit in Week 2 at home versus the Chiefs.

Kansas City at Pittsburgh should be a shootout, which makes fantasy football owners crave for offensive performers. The Chiefs dropped 38 points in their season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1, while allowing quarterback Philip Rivers and Co. to answer back with 28 of their own.

And as long as K.C. remains without safety Eric Berry (heel), opposing teams should have relatively little trouble moving the ball through the air.
