The San Francisco 49ers lost their first game of 2018 against the Minnesota Vikings. Niner Noise takes a look at the top five takeaways from the season opener.

Welp. Jimmy G’s winning streak has come to an end, which isn’t actually the worst thing that could happen since now the media can back off on the winning streak narrative, which was getting pretty annoying.

The San Francisco 49ers will start the season 0-1, but this is just one game. There are 15 more to go.

There were a lot of bad things that the team showed Sunday that definitely contributed to the team loss, but there was also some good.

Oh yeah, and pray for the Niners’ Marquise Goodwin (quad), Mike Person (foot) and Joshua Garnett (foot). All of these players are not only crucial for the team’s success in 2018, but have all worked incredibly hard to get to where they are today.
