WR6: Richie James
Seventh-round rookie Richie James may be last on the depth chart, but I still expect him to be very active on game days, which is really a testament on how talented this team’s receiver core is.
James has been the talk of training camp and preseason, making play after play after play. He has been consistently impressing. I don’t believe that I have seen him drop a single ball in all of camp and preseason. He very well may have the absolute best hands on the team, which is saying a lot with Garcon being a 49er.
Besides his rock-solid hands, James knows how to get open and earn extra yards after the catch. He is incredibly athletic and will be tough for defenses to cover in 2018. Because of that, he will have a surprisingly good season despite him being last on the depth chart.
