WR3: Trent Taylor

Trent Taylor is another very likable player on this team. He is very short (relative to other NFL receivers), standing at 5-foot-8, so that makes him even more likable.

Despite his miniature size, Taylor is very effective on the field. He was Pro Football Focus‘ No. 1-graded receiver on slant routes last season and has earned the trust of Garoppolo, especially in the red zone and on third downs.

Garoppolo loved to target Taylor in the red zone this preseason too, and he seemed to look Taylor’s way on every play inside opponents’ 20-yard lines.

Usually, the goal is to throw to the biggest guy in the red zone, but it is the opposite for Garoppolo. Taylor is his red-zone guy and will make electric plays all over the field this year.

2018 Stat Prediction: 49 receptions, 679 yards, 7 TDs
