Niner Noise takes a look at the opening week for fantasy football and breaks down five players you’ll want to start right out of the gate in Week 1.

We’re less than one week away from not only watching real football, but also constantly checking on our fantasy football lineups to see who to start and who to bench for the week.

Arguably, the hardest part of fantasy football is deciding between talent or matchup week after week. Do I start wide receiver A.J. Green against the Jacksonville Jaguars’ stout defense or Lions wideout Marvin Jones against a suspect Indianapolis Colts defense?

It’s a tough decision, like this, that will make or break your fantasy season.

There will be no obvious players to start (i.e. Antonio Brown, Todd Gurley) in this list, as you should start those guys every week no matter the matchup. Some players are just matchup-proof — stop worrying and just start them.

The NFL season is (almost) officially here — it’s the best time of the year. Snagging Ws will make this time that much better.

I’m here to help your season get off to a great start by breaking down five players you’ll want to have in your starting lineup for Week 1.
