Offensive line:

Garry Gilliam: Strong chance

Erik Magnuson: Strong chance

Pace Murphy: Weak chance

Darrell Williams Jr.: Long shot

Najee Toran: Long shot

Andrew Lauderdale: Long shot

Coleman Shelton: Long shot

J.P. Flynn: Long shot

It really feels, as though along with the starters and the logjam at the right guard position, the most likely players to get through the roster cuts will be Garry Gilliam and Erik Magnuson.

However the catch is Magnuson suffered a fairly serious injury to his hamstring in the second preseason game against the Houston Texans, and the decision to put him on injured reserve is yet to be made.

If Magnuson does get put on IR, I think Pace Murphy will be the man to round out the offensive line for the 49ers on the main roster.

Everyone else seems a fairly long shot to make the roster and may need one more injury to have any realistic chance of making it.

Post-game analysis:

By far, preseason Week 3 was the best game for the 49ers in terms of run blocking, and curiously the worst in terms of pass blocking (allowing three sacks).

I didn’t see any reason to change any of my conclusions on the 49ers linemen.
