Game info and how to watch

The San Francisco 49ers and the Indianapolis Colts kick off Week 3 of the preseason today, Aug. 25, 2018, at 4:30 p.m. ET, at Lucas Oil Stadium, in Indianapolis, IN.

If you’re in the Bay Area, the game will be broadcast live on your local CBS affiliate, KPIX 5, or online via the free live stream at 49ers.com. The Niners’ third matchup of the 2018 NFL Preseason will not be televised nationally, but a replay of the game will be broadcast on NFL Network on Sunday night, beginning at 12 a.m. ET.

If you’re in a local market, or if you want to watch game Sunday night on NFL Network, you can stream the game on your phone, computer or media streaming device with fuboTV’s subscription service, which includes a seven-day trial membership.

For those who live outside of the Bay Area or the Indianapolis market and want to watch the game live, NFL Game Pass provides a live steam of the game via their subscription service. NFL Game Pass also offers a seven-day trial membership.

The 49ers last faced Indianapolis in a preseason game in Week 1 of 2010, with San Francisco winning the affair 37-17. The star of the game was Niners RB Anthony “Boobie” Dixon — a fan favorite — who rushed for 100 yards and a score.

Las Vegas sportsbooks currently predict today’s matchup to be a tossup, after the Indianapolis Colts opened as 1.5-point favorites over the visiting San Francisco 49ers.
