Halfway through the preseason, we have a solid idea of which players are performing well and which aren’t. Niner Noise looks at five players primed to get cut.

Watching preseason is pretty hard, well, compared to watching regular-season football anyway. But the beautiful thing about it, many people always seem to forget about, is that players on the bubble are giving it their absolute everything to make the roster.

You can see the fight in the players’ mannerisms on the field. That raw determination alone makes preseason worth watching.

However there are players, no matter how much grit they play with, who just don’t have enough talent to make an NFL team. And especially an above-average one, in terms of talent, such as the San Francisco 49ers.

Here are five players who are likely going to be out of a job come September.
