No. 2: How will Trent Taylor fare?

With a back ailment sidelining him, Trent Taylor hasn’t had a productive preseason so far.

But that’s fine, he’s back and raring to go.

Taylor earned a reputation for being a third down specialist for the 49ers, and the team will be glad to have his clutch ability back.

Back injuries are always tricky though, and players can be a bit wary coming back from such an injury.

The Texans will be his first test as he eases his way back into form. Expect to see Garoppolo target him at least once on a trademark slant route.
