No. 8: How will the 49ers’ blocking hold up?

One of the most underwhelming parts of the first preseason game was the blocking.

The running game couldn’t really get going, and while it’s too early to be too critical, some improvement will definitely need to be seen.

Garoppolo will be fine, he’s a quick passer who can dissect defenses quickly, but he’s going to need a running game to complement him.

With the interior blocking still a huge question mark, it’ll be interesting to see if there’s an improvement.

Oh yeah and let’s talk about that Texans defense a second.

J.J. Watt. Jadeveon Clowney. Whitney Mercilus.

Everyone will have their work cut out for them.
