Jimmy Garoppolo Intercepted Again

On Wednesday, Jimmy Garoppolo was picked off by Texans safety Tyrann Mathieu. Today, it was fellow Houston safety Kareem Jackson.

Jackson managed to grab a pick during two-minute drills, which doesn’t exactly bode well for Garoppolo. Especially seeing back-to-back picks from Texans safeties on consecutive days.

Garoppolo had a 7-to-5 touchdown-to-interception ratio with the Niners last year, although that was on a limited knowledge of Kyle Shanahan’s playbook. So it’s easy to see why some may be a bit concerned with the interceptions on both Wednesday and Thursday.

Still, Jimmy G made up for it with that throw down the sideline to Pettis. He followed that up with another connection with fellow rookie wide receiver Richie James, who remains a camp standout thus far.

And there’s little reason to be overly concerned with the practice turnovers right now anyway.
