No. 2: The Secondary Continues to Struggle

The last couple of seasons have seen the Niners secondary burned so bad, their remains could only be identified by dental records!

Head coach Kyle Shanahan and Co. have taken measures to get key players in the right positions, adding a versatile and experienced cornerback in four-time Pro Bowler Richard Sherman, while continually training up both youngsters Ahkello Witherspoon and the well-balanced Jaquiski Tartt.

Despite these efforts, however, I foresee these athletes needing valuable playing-time experience as a unit to jell to each other’s play style. I am certain impressive plays will be made individually.

I just feel it will take a while to create a rock solid bunch in the backfield. That may take time, especially considering the lack of experienced depth behind the presumed starters.
