The San Francisco 49ers have a fairly high level of expectations heading into the 2018 NFL season, and here are 13 predictions for what the Niners may do this year.

Thirteen has always been a lucky number for me, in almost anything. Therefore, I have decided to make 13 bold predictions concerning the San Francisco 49ers in the upcoming 2018 season.

Hopefully, my luck can spill over into the locker room. The road to the NFL playoffs is a long and twisting path, full of arduous tasks, moments of triumph and times of heartbreak.

Our gladiators of the gridiron need all the luck they can get to pick themselves up from the dirt, and reclaim their past glory!

Good and bad, here are the events I expect to unfold once the 49ers open up the regular season on Sept. 9 in Week 1 against the Minnesota Vikings.
