No. 5: George Kittle will be the 49ers’ leading receiver

George Kittle had a promising rookie year for the 49ers, and I think he will take it to the next level this season.

In my 49ers positional review for tight ends, I said Kittle would be the “one to watch” for the 49ers, and the reason for this was his finish to the year under Jimmy Garoppolo.

Kittle got better and better under every Garoppolo game, culminating in a 100-yard game versus the Los Angeles Rams (albeit in a team resting its starters).

Garoppolo likes to pass quickly, and has no problems throwing to Kittle.

Kittle can only get better, and Garoppolo has a full preseason to get on the same page with him, so I like him to be the leading receiver.
