18. K Robbie Gould
49ers kicker Robbie Gould attempted far too many field goals in 2017, due to the offense’s poor red-zone play over the course of the season — and Garoppolo consistently leading the team into potential scoring opportunities during his five starts:
#49ers with Garoppolo led the #NFL in points-per-drive, even though they had the highest FG-to-TD rate in the league. How? The Niners scored on an outlandish 62% of Garoppolo's drives. #GoNiners #49wz pic.twitter.com/jkZz4TD2tK

Fortunately, Gould capitalized on all but two opportunities, as he converted over 95 percent of his field goal attempts. While one of the 49ers’ primary focuses this season will be finishing offensive drives, having a kicker who consistently converts when called upon is a necessity in today’s NFL.
