10. WR Marquise Goodwin

Wide receiver Marquise Goodwin is another player who broke out in 2017, and will look to build upon that success in 2018. When Lynch and Shanahan signed the unproven wideout last offseason, fans of the Buffalo Bills mocked Goodwin’s contract with his new team, since Buffalo acquired three wide receivers — Andre HolmesPhilly Brown and Jeremy Butler — for the price of Goodwin.

By the end of the 2017 season, the three new Bills receivers amassed a total of 120 receiving yards. Meanwhile, Goodwin — who was misused and underutilized in Buffalo — established himself as the 49ers’ No. 1 wideout and a clutch receiving target for Garoppolo.

Last season, Goodwin demonstrated he has the ability to be both a possession receiver and a deep threat with Olympic-caliber athletic talent. With the return of former No. 1 receiver Pierre Garcon, and a full year with Garoppolo under center, the 49ers have a potentially dangerous group of wide receivers this season.
