NFL player award predictions for the 2018 regular season
Offensive Player of the Year: Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown
Particularly during the past four years, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has emerged as one of the NFL’s premier targets.
Brown has been quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s most reliable receiver who easily accumulates over 1,000 yards per season. The four-time, All-Pro selection had his best season in 2014 in which he recorded 1698 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.
Year in and year out, Brown consistently makes his case to win the Offensive Player of the Year award. He has never received the honors but 2018 could be a different story.
With Martavis Bryant out, Brown will likely receive even more targets this upcoming season. Thus, his numbers could increase even further from his already impressive totals last year.
Brown would then contend for the award once again and this year could finally be his time. If Brown wins Offensive Player of the Year in 2018, he would be the first wide receiver to win the title since Jerry Rice in 1993.
