With the 2018 NFL season around the corner, fantasy football players need to know everything they can on how to ace their league drafts. Here are some winning tips.

There are as many fantasy football tips this time of year as there are ways to botch your draft. Every bit of advice can be matched with a messed-up projection, reach or mistake.

Fortunately, I’m pretty smart and have enough fantasy football acumen to gloriously pass along my deep knowledge to you. Why? Because I want you to be successful during your fantasy draft this upcoming summer.

Unless you’re in my league, of course.

OK, that was an egotistical statement. I’m not the foremost fantasy expert out there, but it’s always worth sharing my own experiences and hoping you can better your own chances or, at least, avoid some of the pitfalls my fantasy teams have endured in recent years.

Fantasy football is all about risk versus reward. You should have a few strategies in play as you prepare for draft day.

For example, a big trend right now is pushing off a starting quarterback until the mid-to-late rounds of your draft. It’s not a bad idea, considering only a handful of signal-callers are worth consideration early. Best to get the bargain and focus more on other positions of need earlier, right?
