Round 9: QB Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams

We subscribe to the “late-round QB” philosophy, so once we enter the latter part of our fantasy football draft, we start looking for streamable quarterbacks who also have the potential to be every-week starters. This season, Garoppolo is a potential late-round selection with top-5 upside, but unfortunately, we missed out on him early in the previous round.

With our ninth pick, we select Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff, who has at least top-10 upside, which he demonstrated last season. Goff took a major step forward in 2017 after an abysmal rookie year, but he was still inconsistent at times, so we’d be smart to enter the season with an additional option at the position.

Perhaps we’ll find him in Round 10.
