No. 2: Running Back Nick Chubb, Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns inked free-agent running back Carlos Hyde this offseason, and you should expect him to see the majority of carries early on.

But the Browns also used a second-round 2018 NFL Draft pick on fellow tailback Nick Chubb.

It’s clear Chubb is the future, not Hyde. And while the veteran will likely be the ground game’s bell cow for the first few weeks of the season, your fantasy football instincts should focus more on that late-season run.

That’s where Chubb comes into play.

One shouldn’t expect Cleveland’s offense to be dynamic. But Chubb’s 8.05 ADP ranking is simply too good to pass up late.

Adding quarterback Tyrod Taylor and wide receiver Jarvis Landry this offseason should help balance out the Browns offense, making life a little easier on their crop of tailbacks. And while you might want to hold off on starting Chubb right away, you’ll be thanking your fantasy football stars when injuries around your league start piling up and you have a fresh option for RB2 or flex player.

Let everyone else fight over the waiver-wire scraps.
