No. 3: Wide Receiver Marquise Goodwin, San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco 49ers

We are a 49ers site, after all. It wouldn’t be fair if we didn’t have a Niners player on this list.

For 2018, that player is veteran wideout Marquise Goodwin.

During his tenure with the Buffalo Bills, Goodwin was known for little more than being a speed threat. Coming to San Francisco changed that, however, as 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan helped turn Goodwin nearly into a 1,000-yard receiver in 2017.

And less than half of those numbers came with Jimmy Garoppolo under center.

Goodwin climbed into ADP rankings in 2018 (8.09) after not even being listed last year. But ESPN ranks him as the 46th wide receiver on their pre-fantasy projections for this season, meaning you should have little trouble taking a late-round flier on him.

It’s never a bad idea drafting the offense above the player, and the Niners offense is expected to make a big leap this season.

If you’re in need of a flex option or WR2 to cover you on a bye week, Goodwin is an easy pick.
