No. 1: Punter Andy Lee

The fact a punter is No. 1 on the list just shows how important these players are to football teams.

After all, as Rich Eisen likes to say, punters are people too!

Andy Lee spent 10 years on the 49ers and possesses the most punting yards out of any other punter that has worn the red and gold.

His 46.2-average yards per punt over these 10 years shows a theme that seems to be running along all of the players on this list — consistency.

The three Pro Bowls, three first-team All Pros and one second-team All Pro on his resume do not do Lee justice.

Lee was the model of consistency, and I am glad that he was a Niner.
