Niner Noise looks at each division, NFL power rankings style, and breaks down each four-team group from the weakest to the strongest entering 2018.

2017 turned the league on its collective head, and NFL power rankings certainly reflected it from Week 1 to Week 17.

Just think, the AFC West and NFC East were supposed to be the elite divisions last year. But teams like the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders flopped, while few predicted the New York Giants would end up with the No. 2 overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft.

The Seattle Seahawks lost control of the NFC West, while the Los Angeles Rams now look like a serious Super Bowl contender.

Who would have guessed that two years ago?

There are a few powerhouses remaining. The AFC North remains tough. And the New England Patriots remain the AFC East’s top dog until, well… they’re not.

But let’s have some fun and lump all 32 teams together into their respective divisions, breaking each one of those down in this divisional version of our NFL power rankings.
