Walter Football (Part 2)

And now we move to part two, where yet another defensive lineman is mocked to the 49ers.

Pick No. 14: Montez Sweat, EDGE, Mississippi State

In this draft, Montez Sweat is the EDGE mocked to the 49ers, saying:

"The 49ers need one more edge rusher to finish off their defensive front. Sweat (6-6, 241) had an excellent 2017 season and was dynamic defender for the Bulldogs. He totaled 48 tackles with 15.5 tackles for a loss and 10.5 sacks. It was his first year of playing time, so he has upside to develop."

My take

As above, it would make sense to draft a pass-rusher if there isn’t anyone who stands out this season. Interestingly, this is the first mock to have the 49ers in the teens.
