2. Kentwan Balmer, Defensive End, North Carolina

Drafted with the 29th overall selection in 2008, it feels like a good time to go back to a prior article I wrote listing Kentwan Balmer as the second worst daft pick of the last 10 years for the 49ers:

"What can be said about Kentwan Balmer? Just 19 combined tackles in 27 games with the 49ers. No sacks his entire career. Bounced around the league before leaving the Washington Redskins with absolutely no warning whatsoever. At the end of the day he was just an absolutely awful football player with a poor attitude in the league, and the only positive is the 49ers at least traded down to the 29th overall spot in 2008 and got something out of the selection."

That says it all.

Horrible player.

Horrible attitude.

Horrible pick.
