San Francisco 49ers: The worst 15 NFL draft picks in franchise history
1. A.J. Jenkins, Wide Receiver, Illinois
Yep, we all saw this coming.
I will say, the amount of sass that video above packed with one iconic theme song and one clip made me laugh. God did I need that laugh.
The 49ers literally would have been better off crumpling up their draft card and throwing it in the fireplace. It would have been just as productive as taking A.J. Jenkins but it wouldn’t take up a roster spot or drop a wide open pass.
Taken 30th overall in 2012, it is astonishing what Jenkins did. Or didn’t do.
Everyone else at least laid a tackle, caught a pass, did something.
Hell, Druckenmiller threw one touchdown and Woods caught one touchdown.
More offensive production than Jenkins had.
Hypothetically if your child somehow sneaked his way on the field, took the place of a punt or kick returner, muffed the kick and knocked it out of bounds slightly in front of him, he generated more yardage than Jenkins did at the 49ers.

Jenkins lasted a year before the Niners dumped him off to the Kansas City Chiefs, and everyone blew a sigh of relief.
A total sunk cost, and the worst draft pick in 49ers history.
