San Francisco 49ers: How the 2018 NFL Draft should have gone

With the 2018 NFL Draft in the books, there’s enough time before camp starts that we can take a magnifying glass to the San Francisco 49ers draft class and see where it could have gone different.

This is just a warning, some of you won’t like the changes here. I have no doubt.

But I’ll also be honest, I honestly wouldn’t change a lot of it given what was available too.

While you won’t see the sort of production like from the inaugural draft class from general manager John Lynch, the new crop of San Francisco 49ers may very well be more intriguing in the long run.

But that’s already been done, we’re here to look at what could be different.

So we’ll look at day one, day two and day three and see where some value was left lying on the table. After all, nobody has a perfect draft.
