2018 NFL Draft: Pick Nos. 21-32

OK, the final stretch of Round 1 of the NFL Draft.

It’s never a shock to see some names drop further down the draft board at this point, which leads to some interesting and value-worthy selections.

The Bengals need plenty of help up front along their offensive line, so going with Georgia offensive guard Isaiah Wynn here makes plenty of sense. He should be good to go on day one.. Offensive Guard. Georgia. Isaiah Wynn. 21. player. 56

Offensive Guard. UTEP. Will Hernandez. 22. player. 16. Buffalo is going with a quarterback early, and the next step would be to ensure he’s adequately protected up front. UTEP guard Will Hernandez had <a href=

47. Louisville defensive back Jaire Alexander is among the best in this year’s NFL Draft at press coverage, making him a sought-after commodity at the tail end of Round 1. And with the Patriots’ need to get faster and more aggressive in the secondary, this move should help out a lot.. Cornerback. Louisville. Jaire Alexander. 23. player

Wide Receiver. Texas A&M. Christian Kirk. 24. player. 87. The Panthers need to add more offensive playmakers to help quarterback Cam Newton, and Texas A&M wide receiver Christian Kirk is the kind of player Carolina could use out of the slot right away.

Alabama. Rashaan Evans. 25. player. 35. The Titans defense should be the No. 1 priority for head coach Mike Vrabel, and there are few better ways to improve this unit at this point in the NFL Draft than by adding a sideline-to-sideline linebacker in Alabama’s Rashaan Evans.. Inside Linebacker

player. 44. The Falcons lost defensive linemen Dontari Poe and Adrian Clayborn to free agency this offseason, meaning the interior of their D-line should get top billing. At this point in the draft, few prospects fit the bill better than Michigan’s Maurice Hurst.. Defensive Tackle. Michigan. Maurice Hurst. 26

UTSA. Marcus Davenport. 27. player. 15. New Orleans’ defense was one of the better storylines last season, but head coach Sean Payton and Co. could still use some outside pass-rush help. UTSA’s Marcus Davenport is raw, but the already-good defense could help him transition into a larger role in coming years.. EDGE

The Steelers will be looking for a replacement for standout linebacker Ryan Shazier (neck) in this NFL Draft, and Boise State’s Leighton Vander Esch is a player, whose name has steadily risen up draft boards this spring.. Linebacker. Boise State. Leighton Vander Esch. 28. player. 55

player. 52. Jacksonville is putting its faith in quarterback Blake Bortles but lost wide receiver Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns this offseason. Providing Bortles with offensive weapons should be a priority, even if the Jaguars are built to be a run-first team. Going after big-bodied wideout Courtland Sutton out of SMU makes plenty of sense.. Wide Receiver. SMU. Courtland Sutton. 29

Cornerback. Central Florida. Mike Hughes. 30. player. 60. The Vikings don’t have a ton of pressing needs this offseason, particularly on defense, meaning a selection of Central Florida cornerback Mike Hughes is a bit of a luxury. But with 39-year-old veteran Terence Newman no longer in the picture, going with a young and versatile nickel corner isn’t a bad idea.

47. The Pats need to find a long-term option to replace veteran offensive tackle Nate Solder, who departed the team via free agency. UCLA’s Kolton Miller comes with some injury concerns. But when he’s healthy, he’s about as solid a lineman as they come.. Offensive Tackle. UCLA. Kolton Miller. 31. player

South Carolina. Hayden Hurst. 32. player. 54. Like the Vikings, the Eagles don’t have a ton of needs in this year’s NFL Draft, making the final pick in Round 1 one of luxury. Tight end Hayden Hurst is a bit raw, but his physical skill set is amazing enough to help find the replacement for former Eagles TE Brent Celek.. Tight End
