Niner Noise dishes out a final mock for the San Francisco 49ers over four rounds in advance of the 2018 NFL Draft later this week based off what we think the Niners do, not our wishes.

OK, I lied. This is the final mock NFL Draft I’ll run for the San Francisco 49ers ahead of Round 1, which kicks off this Thursday.

This time, though, let’s change things up a bit.

Most mocks out there are based off what the writer would ideally like to do. It’s “fantasy general manager” at it’s best — or worst, depending how you see it — and can largely be contingent on what the individual sees as a best fit.

I’m no stranger to this, of course, but this mock will focus more on what I think general manager John Lynch and the 49ers will do. Not me if I was in charge.

San Francisco owns the No. 9 overall pick in the draft. The Niners won’t select, barring a trade, until No. 59 overall in Round 2. They’ll then select at Nos. 70 and 74 overall in Round 3, followed by a late-round pick in the fourth round.

To keep things relatively simple, this four-round mock won’t include trades. So let’s jump into things using the all-too-helpful FanSpeak On the Clock NFL Draft simulator using Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller’s big board. And remember, this is conjecture for what San Francisco does. Not Niner Noise, per se.

And the Niners are now on the clock in Round 1.
