No. 2: Richard Sherman vs. Russell Wilson (Weeks 13 and 15 vs. Seattle)

A big reason why Richard Sherman signed with the 49ers is because he wanted to stay in the NFC West in order to play against the Seattle Seahawks, the team that cut him, twice a year.

Sherman has one of the most competitive mindsets in the league, and he always seems to play better when he wants revenge. 49ers fans know that all too well.

But now the tables have turned. Sherman wants revenge on the Seahawks for cutting him, and he is going to get it.

It will be a joy to watch Russell Wilson, one of the best quarterbacks in the league, to try to carefully throw against Sherman — his former teammate he has faced in practice for the past five years.

And when Sherman gets his revenge? You’ll hear the entire city of San Francisco erupt into joy.
